Overview
- Monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Troubleshooting various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, OLTs, etc.)
- Escalating persistent issues to more senior staff after following troubleshooting procedures
- Working on a rotating schedule which will include weekend and night-time work
- Communicating directly with our customers in a professional, respectful manner
- English required, Chinese language skills a plus
Job Brief
We are looking for a NOC Analyst to support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a 24-hour Network Operations Center (‘NOC’) team that is responsible for monitoring, testing and troubleshooting network infrastructure to support our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Monitor network and system resource utilization
- Provide first-level support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Work within established policies and procedures
- Liaise with customers and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Requirements:
- Good written and spoken English language skills
- Chinese language skills a plus
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Maintains a professional attitude at all times
- Basic understanding of networking
- Basic understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent work experience
